About Us
Golden Hatch is located in the Atlantis district of Cape Town, approximately 50 km north of the city. We take pride in consistently providing 2500-3000 day-old broilers on a weekly basis, with our primary goal being to deliver top-quality chicks to our valued customers. Our commitment to quality starts with the supply of fresh and disinfected eggs sourced from a reputable poultry farm on a weekly basis.
The Process
The incubation process involves setting the eggs for a period of 18 days, followed by transferring them to hatchers for an additional 3 days to ensure a successful hatching process. Upon hatching, our day-old chicks are promptly vaccinated against Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis. They are then placed in our well-ventilated, temperature-controlled brooder, where they receive the essential care of warmth, feed, and water for the first 24 hours of their lives.
Delivery & Collections
For your convenience, we offer collection points along the N7 between Cape Town and Malmesbury for the pickup of day-old chicks. Additionally, for larger orders, delivery can be arranged for a fee to be determined based on your specific requirements.
